One of the most highly experienced piano studios in the Vale of Glamorgan, Cardiff and Vale Piano School is pleased to be offering lessons to students in Llantwit Major. My bespoke studio is located in St Athan, within ten minutes' drive from Barry, Llantwit Major and Cowbridge, around twenty minutes' drive from Penarth, Dinas Powys and Wenvoe and very easily accessible by rail or bus.
Teaching all ages, children to adults, as well as beginners to advanced students, I put together a bespoke and tailored lesson plan to ensure all my students learn at their own pace and in a way that ensures they develop their musical abilities. I teach any piano syllabus, most notably ABRSM and Trinity College London. However, for all of my students, I work to put a bespoke lesson plan in place - as I know how boring it can get just working from a book! I work with all my students to find out what they want to play, as well as what they should be doing to develop their musical ability and technique, and put tailored learning goals and plans in place to ensure all my students get the most out of their lessons.
Many of my students have gone on to achieve merits and distinctions in graded exams and university performances.
Beginner Students
Irrespective of your age range, if you've never touched a piano before, I provide expert tuition to get you started and playing within no time!
Intermediate Students
If you've been playing a few years and have a solid grasp of the keyboard, but maybe you are looking for a new teacher, I can help you.
Advanced Students
I cater for students preparing for conservatoire auditions, adults who have been playing most of their lives as well as students preparing for Grade 8 and diploma level.
